Joe served a total of 22 years in several military capacities, which included aircraft electrician, Navy recruiter, physical fitness instructor, counselor and most prominently as an auxiliary security force squad member. During his military service, Joe was decorated with a significant amount of awards for his exceptional performance. He was awarded the recruiter of the year runner up for the nation in Indianapolis Indiana and Recruiter in charge of the year out of Cleveland Ohio. His performance eventually led to a position at Naval Recruiting Headquarters in New Orleans where he worked with all of the detachments to improve marketing and advertising lead quantity and quality. Joe retired from the Navy in 2004 and was awarded both a Navy Achievement Medal and a Navy Accommodation Medal for his contributions to the Navy.

Since 2004, Joe has continued to excel in several positions, which include sales manager for the Cendant Corporation with their vacation real estate division and as a St Tammany Deputy. After Katrina destroyed his Louisiana Home and Career. Joe moved to Huntsville Alabama and worked as a client service manager for Roto-Rooter, where he became a licensed plumber and eventually as a field manager with Aon Water Technology for a total of 11 years. Joe decided to return to commercial real estate and Joined the Dean Commercial Real Estate Team in November of 2019.

These positions are influential in developing a strong community and business network with the Huntsville – Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Madison Chamber of Commerce, Business Alliances, North Alabama Apartment Association, Home Builders Association and several veteran organizations. He is continuing to work with the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce as a volunteer Emissary.

Joe has been married to his wife, Jeana for 33 years and has two pit bulls for pets. Joe has several interests that are as diverse as his career. He enjoys working on his corvette, ghost hunting, scuba diving, riding his Ninja and building computers.
Joe’s core values come from working with his family on a farm, a strong sense of duty to his country, and a belief in sweat equity.
